Gunners legend Thierry Henry has criticized Arsenal’s performance and Mikel Arteta responds.
Thierry Henry has criticized Arsenal’s performance in their recent 0-0 draw against Brighton and Hove Albion, but Mikel Arteta refused to get drawn into a war of words with the Arsenal legend, simply suggesting that the Frenchman presented another opinion and one that had to be respected.
Many thought the Gunners ‘season had finally started with a fine North London Derby victory over Tottenham, but the Gunenrs were largely outclassed by Graham Potters’ excellent Brighton side.
“I didn’t hear it, I’m just hearing it from you,” Arteta said in his pre-match press conference.

“It’s just another opinion. You have to respect that.”
Arsenal have only had 25 shots on target this season as they languish in the middle of the table, but Arteta has admitted the problem and is hoping his team’s balance will be restored.
“It’s something we can definitely do better,” said Arteta. “We can improve our efficiency in front of goal. When we have that balance, it will help us win more games.
“When you’re in a good dynamic you want to keep playing as fast as possible. We’ve done well enough to do that and be in a different position than a month ago.”
