Three weeks before the shock against Real Madrid, Mauricio Pochettino has a plan in mind. But he goes through a reinforcement in the midfield.
A few days before the end of the winter transfer window, Mauricio Pochettino does not budge: the PSG needs to strengthen in midfield and the ideal recruit for the vice-champions of France is called Tanguy Ndombele, his former player at Tottenham. A player he had already brought to Spurs when he was playing in Lyon. The tricolor international would bring real added value to the Parisian midfield, too little creative for the taste of the Parisian coach.
The recruitment of the former Lyonnais, through his ability to break the lines, whether through sharp passes or his ability to advance with the ball, has become a priority for the Argentine technician. The former central defender also imagines him as a holder against Real Madrid in three weeks. However, the case seems somewhat compromised.
No medium wants to leave
The equation seems simple to solve. PSG wants to recruit Tanguy Ndombélé, himself eager to leave Tottenham to join the capital club. And this while the Spurs are willing to let the international tricolor leave on loan as long as his salary is taken care of by his new club.
All the lights therefore appear green. But that would be without counting on one last obstacle: PSG wants to see one of its midfielders leave before recruiting the native of Longjumeau. And if he managed to get Sergio Rico and Rafinha to leave and still hopes for the departure of Layvin Kurzawa, no midfielder wants to leave Paris. Leandro Paredes, Ander Herrera, Idrissa Gueye, Danilo Pereira or even Georginio Wijnaldum have no intention of moving. What therefore make very hypothetical the arrival of Tanguy Ndombélé. Unless the departure of Junior Dina Ebimbe for Bayer Leverkusen, on the right track, is enough.
