Here is the Ligue 1 ranking updated after the sanctions imposed following the incidents at Lyon-Marseille.
The verdict is for theOlympique Lyonnais. After the incidents of the meeting againstOlympic Marseille, with the interruption of the match following a bottle throw to Dimitri Payet, the Rhone club received a penalty point in the standings, as well as two matches behind closed doors.

This is the third sanction of this type pronounced this season after the two penalty points inflicted on Nice (including one suspended point) following incidents also against OM. There was also a suspended penalty point against OM, following the clashes that had punctuated the end of the match in Angers.
This sanction against OL thus modifies the classification of Ligue 1. With one point less, the club of Jean-Michel Aulas now has 22 units on the clock, and remains 12th, with the same number of points as FC Nantes. But the Gones are now 7 points from the podium, and third place held by… OM.
