The CIES analysis sheds light on the clubs of the 5 major championships which grant the most playing time to foreign players.
the Losc, the current reigning champion of Ligue 1 and 9th in the championship, is the French club which offers the most playing time to foreign players for the start of the 2021-2022 season.
This is an observation of CIES (the Center International d’Etude du Sport), which announces a playing time allocated to foreign players of 81.9% for Lille, just ahead of the Paris Saint Germain with 75.2%, and Reims in third with 58.5%.
Lille is also placed in 5th position for the same type of classification, but this time on the five major championships. We will therefore find Torino in 4th position (83.7%), Atalanta de Bergamo in 3rd position (86.3%), Chelsea in second position (86.8%) and finally Udinese at the top of this ranking. (88%).
AS Saint-Etienne, with only 4.1% of playing time allocated to expatriates, is the French club that relies on the locality, relying more on French players than on those elsewhere, where the club of Lille and PSG seem to be internationalizing.
