Defender Robin Le Normand was voted La Liga player of the month in October.
The French have been celebrating in La Liga since the start of the season! After the inevitable Karim Benzema in September, another Habs was elected player of the month for October in the Spanish league: Robin le normand.
This distinction, which rewards the fine career of the Real society, leader of La Liga, will shed light on the performance of the 24-year-old defender. The Breton, trained in Brest, has been playing for the San Sebastian club since 2016. He discovered the Spanish elite late in the 2018-2019 season and has since established himself as an important part of Basque training.
Never called up for the national team, even in the youth categories, Le Normand is only the fourth Frenchman to receive the La Liga player of the month trophy. Benzema has been entitled to it 4 times, while Antoine Griezmann has already been rewarded no less than six times. Steven Nzonzi also received this trophy in January 2017 when he made Seville happy.
