According to the English press, Liverpool are interested in Bukayo Saka, currently in negotiations to extend with Arsenal.
Arsenal is living a rather serene 2021-2022 season. Halfway through, the Gunners are 4th in the Premier League and qualified for the semi-finals of the EFL Cup. Worn in large part by his youth, they seem armed to get a qualifying place in the Champions League and why not a trophy.
Among these young people, there are Bukayo Saka. Considered one of the club’s greatest hopes, the young Englishman does not disappoint. This season, he has scored 6 goals and delivered 4 assists in 21 matches. A first part of the season that caught the eye of one of the three mastodons of the English championship, according to Ian McGarry, Liverpool would be interested in the Gunners’ nugget.

Arsenal want to extend it
While Arsenal wants to extend it, the Reds would indeed like to play the spoilsport in these negotiations. If Saka’s contract does not expire until 2024, London leaders would like to offer him an extension with a salary increase.
It remains to be seen whether the England international will be sensitive to the advances from Liverpool or if he prefers to sign a new lease at his training club.
