London club Tottenham is considering calling on the services of Italian coach Antonio Conte.
Due to a disappointing start to the season, marked by 5 losses recorded in 10 matches, Nuno Espirito Santos is starting to be seriously threatened as Tottenham coach.
Spurs management are about to rekindle their interest in former Inter and Chelsea manager Antonio Conte, according to Spanish journalist Alfredo Pedulla. A change in the technical bar could therefore take place quickly.
Fairy tale in England
Londoners tried unsuccessfully to bring in the Italian last summer and ended up appointing Nuno to replace interim manager Ryan Mason. The Lusitanian technician could therefore in turn make only a quick visit to Tottenham.
Not to miss
If Santo are unable to turn the tide, Tottenham could court Conte again. They may, however, face competition from Manchester United. Indeed, MU would also have views on the ex-coach of Squadra Azzurra to replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
As a reminder, another English club recently approached the transalpine technician. This is Newcastle United. The person declined the proposal, judging it not really in line with his personal ambitions.
