Zapping Our Mondial CAN 2021: Mali’s strengths and weaknesses as seen by Cédric Kanté for Onze Mondial
Sad episode this Sunday on the sidelines of the French Women’s Cup match lost by RC Lens at home against Reims (1-2). At the end of the meeting, as Lensois.com reports, Reims captain Magou Doucouré wanted to explain himself to Lensois supporters guilty of racist remarks.
Terrible acts which led the Lensois club to communicate. Complaints have been announced as well as stadium bans.
Lens press release
With dismay and deep indignation, the Racing Club de Lens learned of the unspeakable behavior of one of the spectators during the French Women’s Cup meeting between Racing and the Stade de Reims.
The club strongly condemns the racist comments made by the individual who has already been identified. It has no place in a stadium and even less the legitimacy to claim to be a supporter of Racing, so much artesian values are radically opposed to these nauseating actions. The club announces that a complaint will be filed tomorrow morning and access to any event of the club prohibited to this person. The Racing Club de Lens also gives its most sincere support to Magou Doucouré. A football player who must be unequivocally regarded as a victim in this unacceptable incident.
Press release from Racing Club de Lens.
