The Liverpool board are considering enlisting seasoned Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos.
Liverpool are said to be interested in recruiting German international Toni Kroos. This is what the Spanish media El Nacional reported on Saturday.
The Reds are considering going on the offensive for the 2014 world champion next June. They see him as an additional solution in the midfield, able to compensate for the recurring absences of Thiago Alcantara.
Real ready to sell their player
The source also specifies that Jurgen Klopp is a big fan of Toni Kroos. He has known him since their joint stint in the Bundesliga. Even though the player will be 32 at the end of the current season, the Merseysiders are said to be willing to shell out up to € 25m for his services.
Not to miss
Real would not be against the idea of relinquishing Kroos. Even if the latter is part of the tauliers of Carlo Ancelotti’s team, with a total of 322 games played and a contribution to 14 trophies won, we are ready to conclude a transfer as long as the financial demands are met.
