In terms of squad value, PSG has no equal in France. On a European scale, only Manchester City appears more richly endowed.
Since 2011 and the entry of Qataris into the club’s capital, the PSG has changed dimension, both in terms of the prize list and in its resources. Now counting among the European gratin – with to its credit in particular a final and a half of the Champions League in recent years – the red and blue institution can boast of having the second workforce on the continent in terms of valuation.
With its 37 elements listed by the Transfermarkt site for an average value of 25.07 million euros per player, PSG has accumulated 927.70 million euros in assets. Only Manchester City does better, with a group estimated overall at 1.04 billion euros. Other Premier League giants completing the European Top 5: Chelsea (878,50 M€), Manchester United (€ 865.25 M) and Liverpool (861 M€).
The rest of the L1 far behind
The greats of Spain, for their part, are in the Top 10 of the best valued European squads but at a reasonable distance from the leaders, and behind the Bayern what is more – the Munich club being the sixth power of the field with its collective to 819.50 million euros. the Real Madrid is thus satisfied with seventh place, at 751 million euros. Barely more than theAtlético de Madrid (€ 745.90 million), but significantly better than the FC Barcelona (659 M€).
To find traces of other Ligue 1 formations, you have to go down to 27e echelon, where is theAS Monaco and its 354.70 million euros in assets. L’OL and the Losc come next, in 31e and 33e positions, with respectively 305.55 and 284.10 million euros in headcount. L’IF (243,35 M€), l’OGC Nice (236.05 M €) and the Rennais Stadium (219.20 M €) appear in the continental Top 50, with 44e, 46e and 50e places.
