Former AC Milan striker Andriy Shevchenko is on the verge of returning to Serie A. The 45-year-old Ukrainian will become the coach of the Genoa, announces the Italian press.
The leaders of the Genoa club have decided to part ways with Davide Ballardini after the draw conceded Friday night at Empoli (2-2), which leaves Genoa in 17th place in the standings.
