The naming of Ligue 1 continues

Ligue 1 has validated the renewal for two seasons of its naming contract with Uber Eats.

The subsidiary of the American giant Uber has been the title sponsor of the French championship for two years, succeeding Conforama, and gives 15 million euros per season to the league.

In France, meal delivery platforms benefited from a boost in the second half of 2020 with the reopening of restaurants. In the magazine Capital In July, we learned that Uber Eats was number 1 ahead of Deliveroo and Just Eat, with 55% of the population covered in France and 40,000 delivery men employed (against 14,000 for Deliveroo).
